Crypto Market Set to Revisit Previous Highs

Last Updated on 30/09/2026

Market Overview

The cryptocurrency market remains relatively quiet, with prices showing limited movement compared with the previous session. At around $2.87 trillion, total crypto market capitalization is cautiously recovering from last week’s low near $2.83 trillion. However, as long as the market stays below the $2.90 trillion threshold, the short-term technical trend remains bearish.

A stronger US dollar and uncertainty across equity markets continue to weigh on investor sentiment. Nevertheless, cryptocurrencies have frequently acted as an early indicator of changes in risk appetite. As a result, the recent stabilization in crypto could potentially be followed by improving sentiment in traditional markets over the next few sessions.

Bitcoin found support around $82.5K during Monday evening and early Tuesday trading. At the time of writing, BTC had recovered to approximately $84K, returning to the consolidation range seen over the past week. The current short-term setup suggests that Bitcoin may have established support after pulling back toward previous highs and allowing the earlier rally to cool. If bullish sentiment remains intact, BTC could attempt to break above $87K and reach fresh multi-month highs.

If the broader crypto market serves as an early gauge of global risk appetite, Ethereum can be viewed as a useful indicator of sentiment within the cryptocurrency sector. Ethereum has now posted seven consecutive weeks of gains, avoiding a deeper correction. On Tuesday morning, ETH moved above $2.7K after reaching around $2.8K last week.

The second-largest cryptocurrency continues to maintain a strong bullish structure and is making another attempt to move toward the $2.8K–$3.3K area. This region previously served as a consolidation zone from November through January and could become an important area for Ethereum in the sessions ahead.
